Edunova would LOVE you to join and if you are worried about your fitness – don’t be! Whilst many will be regular runners, there will certainly be a healthy contingent of walkers or run-walkers….the point of this event is to take part and raise awareness for a cause that was very close to Madiba’s heart 📚✏
This is a virtual run, meaning that you can create your own 67 minute route from your home…ANYWHERE in the world! 🎉🌍
For those nearby Helderberg athletes, a few suggested routes will be published, each with a designated leader to ensure there are slow, medium and fast groups on the day. These routes have been designed to pass at least 3 schools and will be posted on this page 🏫
Please note that Covid gathering regulations will take priority on the day – keep a safe distance & remember to wear your mask! 😷
For those wanting to join one of the local routes on Mandela Day, all pre-planned routes will be stopping at schools along the way to take group photographs…make it memorable, dress up, bring a friend but most importantly, join in on the day and help us bring awareness to the value of education! 👏👏

The sound of the Himalayan singing bowls cleanses and balances each of the 7 chakras (energy centres of the body). The sounds and vibrations take you on a transformative, healing, and relaxing journey.
Sound waves stimulate and revitalise the harmony and self-healing process of your body each time in different ways. The metal bowls produce a deep, penetrating sound that is used to relax and repair the mind and body.
Sound baths/healing with singing bowls reduce stress, anger, depression, and fatigue. Healing with sound can furthermore improve anxiety disorder, pain, mood swings, and negative emotion.
